Identify the washing machine's flexible drain hose and where it enters the drain pipe in the wall. The two common setups are a laundry box recessed into the wall or a simple standpipe coming out of the wall. The goal is to anchor the drain hose to something sturdy nearby, like one of the water supply hoses, to prevent it from coming out.
