How to Mount anything to Your Steel Building or Carport
What happens here
Identify suitable locations on the building's ribbed metal siding for the mounting brackets and aluminum straps. It's recommended to mount at least two horizontal straps to evenly distribute the pressure washer's weight. Carefully mark the drilling points, ensuring they align with the ribs of the siding and that the straps will be level. Using a cordless drill, drill pilot holes if necessary, then use the self-tapping screws with their integrated rubber washers to securely fasten the mounting brackets and aluminum straps to the building. Ensure the rubber backing on the brackets is correctly positioned against the building to protect the surface and create a weather-tight seal. Double-check that the mounted straps are very firm and stable, capable of supporting the weight of the pressure washer.
Goal: Securely mount the aluminum support straps and brackets to the exterior wall.
