How to make old timey apple cider, apple jack and Apple Cider Vinegar
What happens here
Pour the strained apple cider into large glass carboys using a funnel. Ensure there's enough headspace in the carboys (about 1-2 inches from the top) to allow for fermentation activity without overflowing. Fill each carboy with fresh cider. The raw cider will have a slightly cloudy appearance due to natural apple particles.
Goal: Prepare cider for fermentation in appropriate vessels.
