How to make a Cutting Board | Recycled Hardwood Flooring
What happens here
Set the miter saw to a 45-degree angle. Cross-cut the walnut strips and a few pieces of lighter accent wood (maple or similar) to the desired length. These angled pieces will form the end-grain pattern of the cutting board.
Goal: Cut walnut and accent wood strips into angled segments for the pattern.
