Stain Exposed Framing Black

What happens here

To enhance the visual appeal of the deck, stain all exposed framing elements, particularly the nailers, with black stain. This technique helps the structural elements disappear from view when looking through the 1/4-inch gaps in the horizontal trim (skirting), preventing the yellow tone of the wood from being distracting. Apply the stain using a roller for efficient coverage.
