What happens here

Identify the desired location on the wall for your floating shelf. Using a stud finder, locate and mark the studs to ensure a secure mounting. Position the metal floating shelf bracket against the wall, align it with the marked studs, and use a level to ensure it is perfectly horizontal. Secure the bracket to the wall using heavy-duty screws, driving them directly into the studs. Take the finished shelf board, which has pre-drilled holes matching the bracket pins and a routed channel for the bracket's backplate. Carefully slide the shelf board onto the pins of the mounted bracket, ensuring a snug and flush fit against the wall. This mounting method provides a strong, invisible support for the shelf.
