Digging the Trench and Severing Roots

What happens here

The operator uses the mini excavator to dig a circular trench around the base of the tree. The bucket of the excavator is maneuvered to cut and sever the main roots that anchor the tree, progressively loosening its hold on the ground. This process creates a deep, wide trench, exposing and breaking the root system.
