Connect Diagnostic Dongle

What happens here

Locate the vehicle's OBD-II diagnostic port, typically found under the dashboard on the driver's side. Take the wireless dongle component of the Gearwrench diagnostic tablet (or a standalone dongle for a smartphone app) and firmly plug it into the diagnostic port. The dongle usually has an indicator light that will illuminate, confirming a successful connection.

Goal: Establish a physical connection between the diagnostic tool and the vehicle's computer system.
