Pressure Wash Loose Paint

What happens here

With the pressure washer ready and safety gear on, begin to apply the high-pressure water to the wall where the paint is loose and peeling. Hold the pressure washer wand at a consistent distance, typically 6 to 12 inches from the wall, and at an angle (around 45 degrees) to the surface. Move the wand in smooth, horizontal or vertical, overlapping passes to systematically remove the failing paint. Observe how the paint comes off and adjust your distance or angle as necessary. Focus on areas with visible flakes and peeling, allowing the water's force to do the work. Avoid aiming directly at intact paint, as this can unnecessarily damage the underlying surface.
