Detach Fan Motor Assembly

What happens here

For this particular NuTone model, the fan assembly is secured by a small turn knob. Turn this knob to release the main assembly. Next, locate the electrical plug connecting the fan motor and carefully unplug it from its receptacle inside the vent housing. Then, loosen the two wing nuts that hold the fan motor bracket in place, and rotate the bracket counter-clockwise to disengage it. Once unsecured, gently pull the entire fan motor assembly out of the vent housing. Observe the significant amount of dust and lint covering the motor and impeller blades upon removal.

Goal: The fan motor assembly needs to be carefully detached from the vent housing by releasing its securing mechanism and disconnecting its electrical plug.
