What happens here

This video demonstrates the practical application of outdoor security cameras, specifically Reolink trail cameras, for monitoring a large rural property. It showcases the cameras' ability to detect trespassers and provide real-time alerts. The video follows the property owner as he investigates a trespassing incident, reviews camera footage to track the individual's path, and assesses the property for further evidence and vulnerabilities. The owner also discusses the challenges of securing a large area and the importance of strategic camera placement and coverage for both security and wildlife management.

God I thought I heard something right there here's what I got can hardly see it on the phone I'm gonna download it and we'll upload it for you guys again folks I just got done shooting the live stream video this morning and we do have an active trespasser on the farm we are going to run over to the other side of the farm right here and find him it crossed over my security camera it alerted me it popped up on my phone I turned it on he's over there now and we're gonna go get him in case you don't know who I am and what I do I just got done filming the live stream out here I grabbed my camera as soon as I saw this trespasser issue going on and we shot over here where we're going to find them um I've got to keep my eyes peeled as I drive through here so we are driving down my little gravel road that goes to the back side of the farm over here inevitably every single year on the Stoney Ridge Farm we have some sort of issue with somebody coming and treading on our property not sure why I'm not sure what's going on there and of course I've got a phone call this is a 150 acre first generation Farm project and when we first moved up here to the farm this was all bare land no infrastructure in place no fencing no nothing and had trouble with trespassers over and over and over again it's been several years since we had serious trespasser issues and I say anybody that's wandering around your property with a weapon is a serious issue I don't know what you guys think the first time we had this issue was with people trapping up and down the creek and they just kind of made themselves at home they thought they could do whatever they wanted to can't do whatever you want to on private property so let's go through here the biggest concern I have is for my safety and the safety of my girlfriend and the safety of my animals my cattle so this is a creek bottom right here you can see right there is the creek and right up here is where the camera is this is my North pasture cam this is where the guy came from it looks like they were walking right up here came right through and crossed the creek right here so we're just gonna stop and try not to disturb any Footprints or something so they had to come through here right on the outside edge of the fence go right through here and basically they clip the corner of uh the camera's view right here so up here is the security camera it runs on solar and it runs on a Wi-Fi network or excuse me a cellular network so I always have service all the time I get an alert anytime something moves through here so I don't see a lot of disturbed land whoever it was whatever it was went through here and went down right there and must have crossed the creek I don't see I don't know I see no sign I do know that the neighbors are cutting Timber over here and this has left me exposed very exposed to any trespasser that might come through this is a creek crossing area for the cattle to get over into this pasture right here I just don't know let's look for Footprints down here and see what we what we get and see any footprints nothing looks Disturbed at all and it's Black Powder season here in North Carolina right now so I don't know I see deer tracks we've got several deer tracks down here several deer tracks here guys uh stick around to the end of the video at the end of the video I'll show you there's some weird looking animals that I've got on camera right here I'll show them to you tell me what you think they are stick around to the end we've got foxes coyotes deer and something very strange that has been on the camera right here I don't even know what the heck it is looks like a rat or a beaver but with no tail it's really weird so let's look again this is where it looked like they came through and across the creek they must have been tracking or trailing a deer there's a lot of deer tracks right in here and a lot of deer tracks over on the other side of the creek but I don't know I don't see I don't see any Footprints I don't see anything and they would have had to have gone up through here and over that way so let's just walk and see let's just let's just get our feet wet there we go okay so they came right up through here no tracks I don't know no no tracks in the creek no tracks right here only deer tracks I'll go right up through here this is an easy spot to walk up through I see no tracks here at all either and it looks like you can tell where somebody has pushed their way through there or a game Trail that's heavily traveled let's walk on through here just a little bit see if they've gotten out into this field this is a field that has yet to be fenced good fences make good neighbors right oh okay brush and debris in here okay here we are this is the pasture this is where if I was hunting I would be in a climbing tree stand right here but I didn't see a climbing stand I didn't even see I saw nothing really other than I don't know well here's some I don't know what this is looks like remnants of I don't know I have no idea what that is that could be where somebody was getting ready to build a stand in that sycamore tree I don't know I don't know all right let's just walk up here just a little bit there's a break in the uh windrow right here maybe they went around the other side I have a deer stand in this tree over here so let's see if maybe they're coming through down through here crossing the creek and then going to my deer stand so let's go over there and see if maybe this trespassers just made themselves at home at my deer stand so we see a trail going right through here and this is a Hedgerow and this is a Hedgerow you can see a trail going right through here this is typically my deer Sanctuary right here so I typically don't bother the deer I put this deer stand up about three years ago but I've never hunted it because I wanted the deer to have Sanctuary on the farm wildlife's very important to me but as you guys can see this this used to be forest all through here but it's not anymore so it used to be a wall of trees right here and there's no more wall of trees I don't know whether this person's hunting in my stand or what so let's just go over here and see any tracks or any signs from boot tracks you would see boot prints on the deer stand we've had trouble with this deer stand before guys last year if you remember on the Stoney Ridge Farm we had them coming over here and throwing trash out of the tree stand it wouldn't be so bad having folks hunt the land if they were respectful and smart and took care of things let's see here so there's no trash around are there any Footprints up here you'd be able to see pretty obviously like they would step on these little Pine sapling limbs no tracks whatsoever nothing up to that's a two-man deer stand right there no tracks whatsoever no no sign of anything either I don't know so stand is still nice and firm this is the cut over right here you can see this is what we call a cut over and this will bring out wildlife and it exposes Wildlife that typically wouldn't be exposed so Wildlife are curious deer are curious Critters they'll come out in here and roam around and eat the acorns that are left behind from the trees that have been cut so gosh I don't know I don't know what the answer is guys uh I'm Gonna Keep I'm gonna let that Loop play a little bit here you guys tell me what you think I should I sweat it should I call the game warden should I call the police what should I do um I do not have ugly yellow posted signs all over my property so if somebody does trespass the only leg I have to stand on really is just asking them to leave that's the only leg I have to stand on and I don't want ugly yellow and orange no trespassing signs on my property I just don't want it I think it uglies up my land and I shouldn't have to tell somebody that they are hunting on a place that's not theirs I shouldn't have to tell them that they know that for sure so it's just rude it's uncalled for and we'll keep you guys posted in the future here as to what we found uh I'll keep that a close eye on that camera I don't know if you guys are interested in the cameras that I have you'll see the footage here at the end you'll see the footage of the strange Critter that I saw and you'll see uh the trespasser footage if you're interested in those type of cameras it cost me ten dollars a month for each camera they're called real link cameras and I have five of them throughout the property so that I can watch and or maintain every single inch of the property every entrance way every exit and every pasture that the cows are in so I don't know guys we're gonna go up here do a little more investigating see what we can figure out and see if this person comes back through again if they're coming through once they're bound to be coming through again so this is just the first time that we've caught them guys thanks a lot for joining me here on the Stoney Ridge Farm channel it's a little creepy it's a little odd uh for sure if you're out in the woods wear your blaze orange this time of year guys take care of yourself and be safe absolutely be safe I did not bring any sort of weapon with me because I don't want an altercation with this person it's definitely better to approach with kind hands and just ask them to leave I don't know you guys tell me what you think we'll see you next time on the Stoney Ridge Farm Channel please hit that like button jump in subscribe I'd love to have you back here on the first generation Farm in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains let's get in the bushes
