Grand National Looks, Grandma Budget – The 1984 Buick Regal Barn Find!
What happens here
The car is driven onto a 'Tuxedo' car lift from 'Northern Tool & Equipment'. The lift initially trips a breaker, but after resetting, it successfully raises the car. With the car elevated, the presenter uses a 'Milwaukee' flashlight to inspect the underside. He finds a 'greasy' transmission output shaft leak and notes the absence of significant rust on the frame rails and rear floorboards, which are positive indicators. The exhaust system, installed by the previous owner, is inspected and found not to be 'true duals' as claimed, which disappoints the presenter. He notes it has one 'Flowmaster' muffler with two outlet pipes.
Goal: Inspect the car's underside for leaks, rust, and exhaust system integrity
