wonderful crew there and I want to thank Jenni Dana see I wrote down the names because I didn't want to forget anybody Jenni Dana Dan Wesley Bryan Mike Joe Kevin and Courtney were the team that Graco sent to the show and they were so wonderful to work with and it was great to meet them and so yes last night we went out to dinner with them and they're all awesome people is super fun great time and I got sunburned and I came home and I snowing so and doc dark John journeymen John got to hang out in the Graco booth with Dan I believe yeah you have a lot of friends yeah yeah and learned a bunch of stuff right did I just really got to geek out yeah it itched all my geeking out I never saw John is there any new equipment you want to try out John anything you're excited for uh you know Dan teased me a little bit and says they're coming out with some really cool stuff soon but he wouldn't tell me what it is so I thought that was kind of mean because that is just using me and letting you know but then not telling me but they run a super-secret CIA covert type operation there where they don't let us know and they don't let anybody know and it just comes out and surprise surprise but it showed didn't know that we were down at the trade show go on our Instagram and our Facebook because there's some little videos and we learned why we like chrome tape so much you saw that wasn't that magic John we found out why do my frog tape where is that was so cool yeah it was um pretty killer frog tape has this like magic this magic pixie dust that goes on the outside of the Frog tape and it swells up with water and it was really cool it was a really cool trick that they showed us yeah it was very cool got a super chap from family man thanks I mean you need something to snow up there big shout out the family man so we got a whole lot of things going on at once around this block here so we got a whole bunch of people popping in showing up if there's any questions you've got any questions Raphael says is a beginner I'd like to know what type of tips to use to paint inside we have any videos on YouTube so we get all we have a whole lot of tips we've just a whole lot of videos teaching how to spray teaching you tip sizes and what tips for what and when and where and how and what and all kinds of stuff but just just to start off one of the most common tips we uses a310 for trim and that's inside outside the gutters in like that a five in five 15 is a very common tip we use inside and outside and then like a 619 I think those three tips are three tips that everybody should have in their back pocket if you're doing an airless spraying and now we'll get you a whole whole long ways but there's a lot of other tips that you can be using to John this questions from Brock u H olive is HVLP painting cabinets fairly easy for a DIY person there's a bit of a learning curve it's gonna definitely be easier if you've used a sprayer before but you know you some like that gray code nine point five with that flex cut they do make it a lot easier you don't have to learn how to reduce things quite as much and then it really is just kind of a couple of knobs and if with some patience you could but it's just not going to be as easy and natural as if you were a professional painter there you go you just heard it live from journeyman Jon so just said hi I saw that okay supplied it me it wasn't it that fizzy stuff from Costco yeah the H wants to know what rig we use for lacquer what rig we lose use for lacquer so whoa you have any videos on that well we use we use all kinds of pumps for lacquer so but yo starting off in my career I used a Titan 444 lacquer when I was spraying all my lacquer packages and stuff but we have converted over to using HVLP sprayer and we use two we use a grey co finished pro 9.5 and then we use a Titan cap spray 115 those are the two HVLP units where we use to spray lacquers but you know Kay's Lee we are you spray lacquers with airless prayers too you can get an awesome amazing finish using airless sprayer as I did it for five ten to twelve years somebody asked how tall are you is that a question is there is really every surprise when they meet you in person Kris okay great those guys are huge they were giants they made me feel short like that short what what happens is this is the problem is every time I take a picture with somebody they're always like 7 - and so it makes me look short because I'm really not that short I'm like 6 5 vs. no no when people meet you in person they're a little bit surprised there was probably at least 10 people that came out to me and and literally told me I'm a lot littler than a shorter no they said littler oh they don't say shorter they say little they say you're a lot you're a lot smaller or littler than you are so it's your guns so it actually gives me this complex it gives me a complex because they think I mean are they talking about my muscles that I'm not as muscular no I think it's short or I'm just short cuz I actually am like a but no I'm high five okay well no you're five six William Worley wanted to know if there's a type of a particular epoxy that you like to use so I um I've used one particular pox a lot in my career and it's tile clad high solids it's an awesome product and this is how I know it's an awesome product cuz I I don't know I've done hundreds of garage floors with it and I've never once got a call back so my process I got a whole video series on how I do epoxy floors that that have just thousands of thousands of views and there are a few people like to criticize me how I prep but this is what I gotta say is my the prep process that I teach and stuff is I've never got a call back on an epoxy floor ever in my career in and this using tile clad it's high solids if I do a clear coat if I sprinkle colorflex on it I use armored seal I believe it's one thousand and see the armies here 1,000 or 2,000 the clear that I go over the top of the Flex with so I'm using questions are just flying by every on Eric SR wants to know have you ever used PVC trim ie in the bathroom and painted it I actually I have so that's a good question so PVC what happens like up here the the trim in the wood trim it's it's not wood its glorified cardboard and they put in bathrooms and it goes up against the bathtubs in the bath tubs and showers it gets wet and then it swells and once it's swollen swollen forever it's good to use PVC and and I used to on the floor the outside we would use it outside on exteriors and then I've used the inside on interiors absolutely amazing and you just it's a smooth PVC just prime it and then we talked coating with our typical top coat and you'll never run into that swelling this you ever again and this weird it looks it's just white and it's white PVC it's absolutely made on outside exteriors of houses and stuff where it's touching water I mean a lot of ciders around the air do the wrong thing comes down to the concrete touches the concrete gets well and so that's where the PVC is good for that so there we go we got to give something away we're already you know this year's town I met um I college educator off college degrees and it's crazy so they're they're college on these guys graduated in college and now they're coming in Jesus right and they're choosing the cranium a change
