Gable Sheathing and House Wrap Installation

What happens here

Large sheets of plywood sheathing are lifted and secured to the newly framed gable. This provides structural rigidity and a base for the exterior finish. Immediately after, a black house wrap material is applied over the sheathing. This weather-resistive barrier helps protect the house from moisture intrusion and improves energy efficiency.

Goal: Once the gable is reframed, plywood sheathing is installed to create a solid surface, followed by the application of house wrap for weather protection.
