Observe the Salt Discharge and Spreading Mechanism

What happens here

At the very rear of the spreader, the narrator indicates the discharge chute and the spinning disc. The salt, having been moved by the auger, drops through this chute onto the spinning disc. This disc, rotating at high speed, then broadcasts the salt outwards, covering the ground or road surface. The speed of the auger and the spinner can often be adjusted to control the spread pattern and application rate.

Goal: Understand how salt is finally released and spread onto the surface.
