Position and Secure Initial Ceiling Panels
At 0:00 in
Good thing we had rocky on the jobsite to help us install all this Modern Mill.
What happens here
Begin by setting up a stable ladder or scaffolding to safely reach the ceiling area. Take the first tongue-and-groove ceiling panel and carefully align its tongue edge with the groove of the previously installed panel, or with a starting line if it's the very first panel. Apply firm pressure to ensure the panel is tightly seated, eliminating any gaps. Once positioned, use a pneumatic nail gun to drive nails through the tongue of the panel into the ceiling joists or framing. This method, often called 'blind nailing,' hides the fastener for a cleaner finish. Ensure nails are driven flush to prevent interference with subsequent panels.
Goal: Install the first few tongue-and-groove ceiling panels
