What we have is an indexable carbide countersink, so traditional countersinks have a braze carbide insert, so once you wear it out, you've got to discard the bit. These are double-sided, so once you wear it out, you index it 180 degrees and you have a fresh cutting edge. You can also buy replacement inserts for it, and we have a through-hardened steel body on the part, so this is going to last a lifetime, and you just have to replace your inserts and your drills.
