What happens here
The DCF961 impact wrench features a 'precision wrench' mode designed to prevent over-tightening or fasteners flying off during loosening. When loosening a fastener, if the tool doesn't detect rotation for four seconds, it automatically 'bumps' the power, like a turbo mode, to help break free stubborn fasteners. For tightening, the tool will tighten the fastener and then pause, allowing the user to switch to a torque wrench for a final, precise torque application. This feature ensures greater control and reduces the risk of damaging fasteners or components.
Goal: Master controlled fastening and loosening with the precision wrench feature.
