Mask Off Areas for Protection

What happens here

Before applying any stain, it is crucial to protect areas not intended for staining. Mask off the window panes using paper and frog tape to prevent the gel stain from bleeding onto the glass. Similarly, mask off door hinges and any other hardware that should not be stained. For optimal results, it's ideal to perform this staining process before the doors are installed, but if already hung, masking is essential.
