What happens here

Before starting the application, it's crucial to prepare the flakes. This involves checking the batch codes on all boxes of flakes to ensure consistency in color and size. The flakes should then be transferred from their original packaging into separate 5-gallon buckets. During this transfer, manually 'interblend' or mix the flakes within the buckets to break up any clumps and ensure an even distribution. It's also advised to separate any fine or crushed particles from the main flakes as these are generally not desired for broadcasting on the floor.
