What happens here

The creator reveals that he also bought six hens along with Brutus. Four of the hens are of the same 'speckled' breed as Brutus, and the other two are 'pretty lavender ones.' He demonstrates the tameness of one of the speckled hens by holding and petting her, noting that they don't fuss when caught. He then shows the interior of their coop setup, which includes a water fountain. He mentions that the hens have only been there for one night and have already laid eggs, but they immediately cracked and were eaten, leading him to seek tips for increasing egg production and preventing egg breakage.
