What happens here

After 24 hours, the creator returns to check the traps. He brings an aquarium to safely transport the fish. First, he checks the trap in the main pond. After pulling it up, he finds no fish, concluding that larger fish in the pond likely ate the bait and scared off smaller fish. He deduces that minnow traps are not suitable for ponds with established larger fish populations.
