Wipe and Blend the Marker

What happens here

Immediately after applying the white permanent marker to a section of the edge, use a clean cloth to wipe and blend the freshly applied marker. The purpose of this step is to prevent the marker from drying as a solid white line. By wiping quickly, the pigment is diffused and pushed into the texture of the furniture edge, creating a softer, more integrated look. The wiping action helps create a blended, subtle, or 'washed' effect rather than a stark, opaque line.
