The first practical step involves retrieving the Gehl RT210 skid steer from the barn. Before using the machine, perform a crucial maintenance check by inspecting the gear oil levels in both track gearboxes. Use a Milwaukee M18 REDLITHIUM impact driver with a socket to remove the gear oil plugs. If oil seeps out, the gearbox is sufficiently full. If not, top up with Lucas Synthetic SAE 75W-90 Gear Oil. Reinstall the plugs securely.
