What happens here
The presenter demonstrates the internal extractor. He hammers the internal extractor into a snapped stud on the demo block, creating a tight, reinforced lock. He then attaches a ratchet and confidently turns the extractor, demonstrating its ability to pull the stud out of the cavity. Even a Grade 8 bolt can be sheared off with this tool. He explains that the internal extractor has a second function: it can be used to heat up the bolt with a torch (without burning the tool) and then continue to spin it, acting as a puller to extract the heated bolt from the cavity. Finally, he uses the foreign object removal sleeve to easily push the extracted stud out of the extractor, leaving no damage to the tool.
Goal: Successfully remove a snapped stud using an internal extractor and demonstrate the removal of the stud from the tool.
