What happens here
To begin measuring parasitic draw, first turn on the PowerProbe PP Draw tool. Then, locate your vehicle's 16-pin diagnostic connector (often an OBD-II port, typically found under the dashboard). Connect the cable from the PP Draw tool directly into this diagnostic connector. Once connected, the tool will power on or display readings, showing the vehicle's battery voltage (e.g., 12.7V) and indicate the parasitic draw, allowing you to monitor the electrical consumption when the vehicle is off.
