What happens here

The man stops the machine, picks up the object, and holds it up for the camera, identifying it as a vape pen. He humorously refers to it as 'recreational paraphernalia' and an 'illegal' find. He concludes by stating he will 'lay this over there for research purposes' to prevent it from getting into the wrong hands.
