What happens here
Before loading, manually pull the RONDINI SP-300SS broadcast seeder out of the shed using a pallet jack and position it on flat ground. Ensure the seed gate at the bottom of the hopper is closed. Unpack the pallet of 'Pasture Mix' seed bags by cutting away the plastic wrap and black covering. Carefully lift and pour the contents of each 40-pound bag into the seeder's hopper. Fill the hopper to a manageable level, keeping in mind that driving over uneven terrain can cause seed to spill if overfilled.
Goal: Fill the broadcast seeder with the 'Pasture Mix' seed.
Tools and materials
- Pallet Jack — Moving the seeder (and pallet of seed) out of the shed
- Utility Knife — Cutting plastic wrap on seed pallet
- Pasture Mix Seed Green Resource — To be loaded into the seeder
