Prepare Pumpkin and Apply Design

What happens here

Begin by selecting a pumpkin that is stable and has a relatively smooth surface area for your design. Carefully cut a large opening in the top or bottom of the pumpkin with a sturdy carving knife. Use a scoop or a large spoon to thoroughly remove all seeds and fibrous pulp from the pumpkin's interior, ensuring the inner walls are relatively clean. Choose a design template, such as the cat silhouette featured in the video, print it out, and then securely tape or spray adhesive it onto the pumpkin's surface. Make sure the template lies as flat and smooth as possible, especially around curves.
