What happens here
Before operating, understand how the RSE RP70 rock picker functions. The attachment features a series of robust metal tines at the bottom, forming a grate. These tines are spaced to allow smaller soil particles, dirt, and fine debris to fall through, effectively screening out unwanted material. Above these fixed tines, a hydraulically-powered rotating comb is situated. When activated, this comb spins, agitating the collected material and pushing larger rocks towards the back of the bucket while simultaneously shaking off any remaining soil. This design ensures that primarily rocks are retained, minimizing the amount of dirt being transported.
Goal: Learn how the rock picker separates rocks from soil.
