Target Degraded Areas with Bale Grazing

What happens here
For severely degraded or barren areas, employ bale grazing. This involves placing entire hay bales directly onto the target spots in the pasture. The cattle will graze on the hay, and their activity around the bale, along with their manure and urine, will heavily fertilize and reseed the immediate area. This concentrated impact encourages microbial life and new grass growth, transforming dead soil into living soil. The resulting manure patties act as mini-compost piles, each representing a 'dollar bill' of natural fertilizer. This method aims to heal specific areas more intensively than unrolling hay, focusing on building soil structure and fertility from the ground up.
Goal: Rehabilitate severely degraded or bare soil spots using concentrated animal impact
