What happens here
The team sets up specialized strainer posts, also known as 'gut strainers' or 'center pull' systems. These consist of two net boards and boundary strainers pulled together with chain tension to create a strong anchor point for the fence wire. This system is designed to squeeze the wire without damaging it. This particular run is a full quarter-mile (1,320 feet) section of fence.
Goal: Establish strong anchor points for the fence wire
Tools and materials
- Boundary Strainers — Connecting and pulling the net boards together
