Excavation & Sub-Base Compaction

What happens here

The project begins with the site already excavated to the necessary depth. The underlying soil, referred to as the sub-base, has been thoroughly compacted. Although the video doesn't show the active excavation, a New Holland skid steer loader and a Weber MT plate compactor are visible, indicating the heavy machinery typically used for these initial, labor-intensive tasks. This ensures a solid, non-settling foundation.

Goal: Prepare a firm and stable foundation for the patio.
