Ever wonder what to do with all those Deckorators cut offs?! Heres an idea! .

What happens here

Once the outer frame is assembled, the creator adds cross-support beams within the frame. He measures, cuts, and then screws these additional pieces into place using a cordless drill/driver, further strengthening the bench structure.

Goal: Reinforce the bench frame with cross-supports

Tools and materials

  • Circular Saw DeWalt — Cutting composite decking boards for support beams
  • Cordless Drill/Driver DeWalt — Driving screws to attach support beams
  • Tape Measure — Measuring and marking cut lengths for support beams
  • Composite Decking Boards — Material for the support beams
  • Screws — Fastening the support beams to the frame
