Ever seen a Chainsaw Do This? Why do I break everything!
What happens here
Using a measuring tape, measure felled pine logs to determine optimal lengths for milling. The primary target lengths are 8-foot and 10-foot sections, especially 8-foot for construction material for the shop. Cut the logs with a chainsaw, making slightly longer cuts (e.g., 8'3" to 8'6") to allow for trimming later. Pay close attention to any bends or bows in the logs, as these sections will not yield good lumber. Continue delimbing smaller branches and bucking logs into manageable pieces using both the Stihl MS 500i and Echo Timber Wolf chainsaws.
Goal: Process felled trees into usable logs for milling and clear branches.
