Epoxy floor REDO! Sand, prime, and recoat. It’s that simple! #epoxyfloors #garagefloors #floors

What happens here

Kneel down along the edge of the epoxy floor, where it meets the wall, to access the 'footings' or perimeter area. Ensure you are wearing knee pads for comfort and protection. Turn on the 5-inch random orbital sander. Apply light to moderate pressure and move the sander steadily back and forth along the edge, ensuring consistent contact with the epoxy surface. The goal is to remove the shine and create a dull, abraded surface, which provides a key for the new epoxy coat to adhere to. Continue this process along all necessary perimeter sections of the floor. Remember to overlap your passes slightly to ensure complete coverage. Maintain a steady hand to avoid digging into the floor or wall.

Goal: Abrade the epoxy surface along the edges
