Emergency Farm Repairs! Some People Have to Learn the HARD WAY!

What happens here

The old, malfunctioning valve is removed from its position. The new Miraco valve, with its intact rubber sealing piece, is then carefully installed into the waterer's internal system. After installation, the float mechanism is reconnected, and the water supply is reactivated to fill the waterer. As the water level rises, the float correctly lifts, and the newly installed valve successfully shuts off the water flow as intended. The system is now operating correctly, effectively preventing any further water overflow.

Goal: Successfully replace the valve and confirm the waterer operates without overflowing.

Tools and materials

  • Miraco Valve — The newly installed functioning valve
  • Waterer Float Mirafount — The component that rises with the water level to trigger the valve closure
