Initial Site Preparation and Rough Grading

What happens here

The project begins with significant site preparation and rough grading of the sloped backyard. A mini excavator is used to move large quantities of dirt, excavating and shaping the terrain to create multiple level areas for the tiered patio. This initial earthwork is crucial for establishing the different elevations of the future patio levels. The land directly slopes down towards a lake, which necessitates a tiered design to make the area usable.

Goal: Excavate and shape the sloped terrain to prepare for multi-level patio construction.
