Electrician speaks the Truth about ALL Electrician Businesses, 98% are Family Owned, Thoughts?

What happens here

The presenter, a young man in a neon yellow work jacket, sitting at a kitchen counter with a DeWalt drill and an 'NY' branded hard hat, responds to a comment implying his success is solely due to his father's electrician business. He argues that working in a family business is a valuable path, emphasizing that it allows individuals to build skills, grow faster, and directly contribute to their family's wealth and legacy, unlike corporate jobs which he suggests have salary ceilings. He shares his own experience of trying corporate America after college but eventually returning to his family's business, which he describes as the 'best decision ever.' He encourages viewers, especially young people with family businesses, to embrace and capitalize on the opportunities they present instead of abandoning them due to pride.

Goal: Explain why working in a family business can be more rewarding than corporate jobs.

All right, someone said you suck your daddy's milk. Without him having electrician business, you wouldn't even have a job. I mean, I guess. All right, hear me out. If you're a young man and your parents have a business, do you really want to make corporate shareholders rich like Nvidia or Chick-fil-A, or would you want to make your own family rich? I think that's an easy answer. Make your family rich. So, yes, guys, to anybody wondering, yes, I'm an electrician and I work under my dad. But guys, let's normalize that it's okay to work in a family business. I see too many guys my age [music] abandon their family businesses cuz they have too much pride and are living broke in the real world. I had to tuck my nuts up cuz I graduated college and I tried to find a job in corporate America thinking I have too much pride. But 3 months later, I knew deep down that if I worked in corporate America for the rest of my life, I will hit a salary ceiling and you'll never be rich. So, I had to swallow reality and went back working to my family business. And it was the best decision ever. In business, you build so many skills and you grow so much faster. And every single dollar you make goes to your last name. Wouldn't you want to make mom and pops proud? Long story short, if you're a young guy with a family business, take advantage and capitalize on the card you're dealt with. And don't throw it away thinking that you need to start something new because of your pride.
