What happens here

This project demonstrates the proper technique for crimping 12.5 gauge high tensile wire using an Infaco Crimp Tool with a Strainrite head. The process involves inserting the wire into a crimp sleeve and then using the specialized tool to create a strong, reliable connection suitable for fence repair or construction. The crimped connection is highlighted for its durability and breaking strength, which is equivalent to the wire itself.

Payton, what are we looking at? So, what we have here is an Infico crimp tool. It's a Pro Crimp, uh, and we have a strain right head on top of it. Um, what we're going to do today is we're going to take a set of hightensil wire, 12 1/2 gauge, and we're going to crimp it together and show you what a crimp looks like and how strong it is. So, what you do is you're going to stick this head in and you're going to crimp down. And as you go through here, this is actually going to elongate. And what this is doing is it's adhering to the wire. as it aderes to the wire, um, it's actually attaching. And now this crimp actually has the same breaking strength as the wire. So when it takes an impact from an animal, um, a tree, anything like that, this crimp would have to the wire would have to break before this crimp would break versus some kind of competitor product like a gripple or anything like that. >> Where do guys find this at? >> So if you go to our website at www.state.com, we have a dealer locator and it'll show you every dealer we have across the entire United States. It's got a remote battery right here. Comes powered. >> Clip right to your belt. You go right out in the field and you can fix your farm fence right there. >> Yes, sir. >> Thank you, sir. See you soon.
