What happens here

The initial stage involves the systematic application of stone veneer panels to a prepared exterior wall surface. The worker is observed taking individual veneer pieces, applying an adhesive or mortar to their backs, and then pressing them firmly onto the wall. A hammer or rubber mallet is used to gently tap each piece into its final position, ensuring proper adhesion and alignment. This process is carried out in horizontal courses, typically working from the bottom upwards to maintain stability and a consistent pattern. The wall appears to be prepped with a weather-resistant barrier (such as DuPont Tyvek visible at the top) and possibly a wire lath or scratch coat underneath.

Goal: Cover the wall surface with the main body of stone veneer.
