Painting Walls and Edges

What happens here

With all drywall preparation complete and surfaces clean, begin the painting process. First, mask off any areas not intended for paint, such as baseboards, window frames, and electrical outlets, using painter's tape. Apply paint to the main wall surfaces using a paint roller with an extension pole for efficiency and even coverage. For precise work around edges, trim, and corners ('cutting in'), use a paint brush. To ensure the cut-in areas match the stippled texture created by the main roller, use a small roller immediately after brushing to apply paint to these areas. This technique helps maintain a consistent texture across the entire painted surface, avoiding visible brush marks.

Goal: Mask off areas not to be painted, then apply paint using a roller for walls and a brush for cutting-in, finishing with a small roller for texture matching on edges.
