Final Acetone Cleanse

What happens here

The final and most critical cleaning step involves an "acetone bath." Apply Dupli-Color Acetone Premium Cleaner liberally to a clean rag and wipe down all surfaces of the rims and tires that will be painted or have stickers applied. Acetone helps to evaporate any lingering water and removes all residue, oils, and contaminants, creating a perfectly clean surface for paint and adhesive. Do not rinse with water after this step; allow the acetone to fully evaporate.
