Do you run joists long then cut later? #shorts #carpentry

What happens here

With your safety glasses and ear protection in place, position your circular saw on the stacked lumber, with the base plate firmly against the secured straight edge. Ensure the blade is aligned with your marked cut line. Turn on the circular saw and allow the blade to reach its full operating speed before beginning the cut. Steadily push the saw along the guide, applying consistent forward pressure to cut through all layers of the stacked lumber in one smooth pass. Keep both hands on the saw handles, maintaining control throughout the cut. Once the cut is complete, release the trigger and allow the blade to come to a complete stop before lifting the saw away from the work area. Repeat this process for any additional cuts needed.

Goal: Execute uniform cuts through multiple pieces of lumber simultaneously.
