DIY Open Trailer Renovation! Before and After. Taking my Trailer to the Next Level with Rustoleum.

What happens here

The presenter introduces the dump trailer, noting its worn condition after years of outdoor exposure. He highlights the need to protect both the wood and metal components. He outlines the various painting tasks to be performed, including repainting the rims, 'armor alling' the tires, painting all metalwork with Rust-Oleum for protection, painting the handle red, the jack silver, and protecting the wood with Arborcoat. The presenter explicitly states that this is not a 'whole educational video' but rather a showcase of his project to make the trailer 'look really cool'.

Goal: Understand the scope of the dump trailer refinishing project.

This paint life TV, I'm Chrissy I know painter and this video is all about my dump trailer and it's really not a whole educational video. It's just showing you my dump trailer and me trying to make it look really cool when I go to the dump. So the dump trailer was been sitting out here for years and years and years and it's just been all worn out and the wood needs to be protected. The metal needs to be protected. So I started it on this project. I thought was going to take me just like an hour and it ended up taking me I don't know like three days but I took off and I repainted the rims on my wheels. I armor all the wheels. I painted all the metalwork with restoleum to protect it. I painted the handle on here so it looked nice and red. I painted the jack silver. I did the wood with arbor coats and to protect the wood because you know ultimately this stuff does need to be protected if it's going to last for any period of time. And also some of it was you know just protecting it. So it will last but also to just make it look nice when I'm out and about in my company vehicle because I'm dragging this thing around you know with my painting truck and it's got my logos on it. So I want my image to look good at all times. So if you want to see you know the process of making the trailer look amazing, stay tuned for this video.
