What happens here
The video clearly showcases a well-installed, curved paver border. This step involves carefully laying the paver stones onto the prepared and compacted base. Start at one end and work your way along the curve, ensuring each paver is level and tightly abutted against the next. For curved sections, like those prominently featured in the video, individual pavers may need to be cut using a wet saw or a chisel and hammer to create smooth transitions and ensure they fit snugly without large gaps. Once laid, an edge restraint (such as plastic or metal edging) is often installed along the back of the border and secured with spikes to prevent the pavers from shifting over time. Finally, sweep polymeric sand into the joints and mist with water to harden, locking the pavers in place.
Goal: Construct the permanent paver border around the landscape beds.
