What happens here

This video demonstrates how to repair a leaky Delta single-handle kitchen faucet by replacing the cartridge. After turning off the water supply, the handle is removed by unscrewing the set screw beneath the handle cap. Then, the retaining nut is removed to access and replace the old cartridge with a new one. Silicone grease is applied to the o-rings of the new cartridge and the retaining nut before reassembly. Finally, the water supply is turned back on, the faucet is tested for leaks, and the handle is reattached.
