What happens here

The video shows a person meticulously applying a wood stain or sealer to several parallel wooden planks using a brush. The liquid is brushed along the length of the planks, and as it's applied, the wood initially appears darker and wet, before soaking in to reveal a more uniform, semi-transparent, and subtly lighter finish. This process is repeated across multiple boards, suggesting an effort to achieve an even coating.

Goal: To apply a protective and aesthetic finish to wooden planks.
