Dale Earnhardt's 1994 Newell Coach: His Former Racetrack Home Turned Museum Exhibit!

we're at the international Motorsports Hall of Fame right outside of Talladega Super Speedway oh would you look at that that's Dale Earnhardt's old Newell that's the one he had before the one that I went to look at and didn't buy because it was a piece of crap if you haven't seen that video you should go watch it it's very interesting it's a 93 I believe and somebody donated it to the museum years ago this one has a much cooler paint job than the one that I didn't buy it has the same phones that ourselves really yeah I just saw one at the front that's funny but it's only a couple years older um this series 60. no way this must have been like one of the very first ones with a series 60 because if it's a what no way if this is a 93 this might be like one of the first couple noodles that has a series 60 in it I figured it was an 8v 92. that is crazy I hope that's a series 60 all right wow this thing is in great shape it makes ours look like peace junk at least on the outside but it got donated in 2010 so it's been sitting here for 11 years I like this uh center console thing I don't have anywhere to put stuff in ours wow that's like like how ours originally was yeah that's exactly what it would have looked like this thing is in great shape all that up there is the same steering wheel oh there's perfect yeah this thing is in killer shape couch is like the same couch it's got the same little side table thing here the same chair but it's got regular wall outlets where ours are hidden up in here so you can't see them that's cool cool yeah this is all exactly the same the same thing he's here the same dinette shape probably goes in and comes apart the same way it looks like this has probably been reupholstered oh there's no little case thingy here yeah because there's that random Circle up there that's covered up I wondered if this goes up into here like fit like this or does it turn I don't know I don't want to mess it up are you glad we have a better sink than this is a letter from cargo blade of the owner of Newell pepper is at 975 000. yeah okay the one he had after this sold for like 52 but it was not in this near grid of shape [Music] yeah it doesn't look like it has a ours has like a dryer here the washer dryer well that's interesting it's got a door door instead of a sliding door a cedar closet the new ones have those I didn't know they were doing that back in 94 though I have to say I prefer our walk-in closet set up over this yeah wide open oh another closet it's probably hung the fire suit in here Breakers okay we should say 402 or not 402 minus 402. it would normally have the the name on here somewhere he has a lot of closet space through here is there more in here yeah wow and it's all Cedar too the shower looks really tight Skylight thingy so that's how it's supposed to slide that's really cool that's interesting all the gold yeah this does not have the raised roof rear section they started doing that in 96. I feel wrong wearing shoes in here do too we don't wear shoes inside yeah and then it's all carpet I'd say the the one he replaced this with was a big step up oh is this is this laundry here yes it is that's different I think we have the same fridge oh it's got a little it's interesting so that's what our fridge is supposed to look like yeah now we know how to put this thing in yeah and it's got little clippies here so that's why the door flies open every time we drive that's hilarious that makes sense this has been very helpful aside from the historic aspect of it thermostats this thing's in great shape we had carpet in the kitchen and ours it would be toast oh yeah let's build things daily you know I bet I bet there might be some cool notes or papers or something if you pull out uh some of those drawers the lights are a little different oh yeah it's very basic but not a lot has changed and they have snap thingies in here to put plastic over the carpet oh here we are [Music] first impression it's uh it's got some wear a couple things oh man this is a piece of History right here [Applause] foreign [Applause] the black and red one that you see here at the Museum and then he replaced that with the white one that I just showed you the clip of and then after that one came one more which the whereabouts of that one is still over Dei as far as I know still being used occasionally that one was actually blue it had some blue in it there's a couple Clips you can see it's in the background I'm talking and whatnot from back in the day the one that you just saw the clip of the white one that's a 97 there's a whole video about it one of the First videos on the channel of this whole Odyssey I went on Delta Nevada to maybe go buy the thing I went there with the intention to buy it and found out that it was kind of a disaster I walked away from it but it's very interesting you get to see everything you just see all the paperwork if anybody thinks that I'm freaking making this crap up don't even bother it's real I've been in the Newell Factory I've seen the Sam Bass proofs of the artwork it's real so if you like that stuff go check that video out and actually I didn't buy that one I ended up buying a 96 noodle that was originally built for Alonso Junior later sold to Robbie Gordon and then Robbie Gordon sold to the president of Red Bull so that's got some pretty interesting history as well and so does this trailer there's a video about that too if you're new here welcome to the rabbit hole of all kinds of cool stuff because if you're still watching now and haven't checked out yet we like the same stuff I don't make videos about stuff that I wouldn't want to watch myself and if you have watched this entire thing our minds are very similar and you're gonna love it so hit that subscribe button check it out and if you like the Hat I'm wearing we got some more stuff just like it you can support the channel and find all this stuff at stapletonautoworks.com look at this stuff would you just look at it here's the shirt version too yeah the hoodies are brand new we just got them yeah the the shirt design we sold out of those like back in I don't know pretty much right after we released them and we just got more but we also had the Maiden hoodies because now it's cold now we got the matching hat it's a snap back it's got like the Winston looking eagle on it but it's wings are boom tubes and he's holding a wrench really comfortable this is the one you see me wearing a lot and we got decals too with all the logos on there these yeah they're not Winston themed but we just added them for the website the Retro One and then pink because I had to have pink pink ones for me yeah we never really have anything female oriented before so now we do yeah you know Christmas coming up you could stick that in your wife mother or girlfriend's uh stalking and I'm sure that they would just love it yeah yeah I mean with this design here we didn't want to offend any brand loyalists so this car is kind of like a generic ish version of like the 1988 Buick because who the heck gets mad about a Buick every order that is placed is packed and shipped by me when I have the time to do it which I'm not Amazon so I don't pack it instantly but I try my best yeah sometimes you do yeah if we're in town it's no more than a couple days before stuff gets out yeah exactly if we're out of town I'm sorry but I write a handwritten note and both of us sign it yep every single one because we care and if you're still watching this we know that you're the real deal because most people who don't really care they're just here for Rusty They Don't Care About Us they're already gone so you know we know times are tight so we made the decal pack cheap relative for getting five stickers most people sell like five bucks for a sticker well you get five stickers for nine here you can put them on your toolbox your phone give them to your friends whatever you still get the handwritten note even if you get a sticker pack
