What happens here
With the picture frame border fully installed, the next step is to fill in the main body of the deck. This involves laying numerous composite decking boards parallel to each other, typically running perpendicular to the main deck joists, and fitting snugly within the established border. The worker starts from one end of the deck and systematically works across, cutting each board to precisely fit the space between the inner borders. These boards are most commonly fastened using hidden fastener clips, which secure into grooves on the sides of the boards, resulting in a clean, screw-free deck surface. A cordless drill is used to secure these clips.
Goal: Cover the main deck area with parallel composite boards.
